How long will my order take to arrive?
We strive to ship our orders within 24-48 hours of receipt. In the US we ship via Priority Mail and UPS Ground. Priority Mail takes 2-3 business days but it is not guaranteed for a particular day. UPS Ground typically takes 5-7 business days depending on where you are located. Customers usually choose the UPS option if their order is heavy (rates are better) or if they have problems receiving packages safely in their mailbox. UPS can usually place a package in an area specified by a customer. Please remember that delivery times may be slower during the holiday season. and we can ship your package via FedEx Overnight or 2-Day shipping. Of course the fees will be higher for these services.
Packages being shipped internationally are sent via Airmail Letter Post or Airmail Letter Parcel depending on the weight of the package. These services are an affordable way to ship and packages usually take 6-10 days to arrive. Shipping time to Canada seems to take longer and generally arrives within 10-14 days.
If you find that your country is not listed in the checkout phase then please contact us. We may be able to configure the postage fees for your country.
Custom or Duty Taxes
In the case of international shipments, shipping charges DO NOT include customs taxes. These taxes are the customer's responsibility and are collected by your government upon delivery. Consult your local authorities about the tax rates for your country. Born in Mommy's Heart will not mark your package "Gift" under any circumstance.
What are your shipping charges?
Shipping charges are based solely on the weight of your order. We do not charge a handling fee and our shipping fees are not padded. You will find our fees to be accurately based on weight. There are a few items like embroidered knots and hair accessories that are very lightweight. If we find that the store's software has overcharged you for postage, we will adjust the fees to a lower amount. One exception to the shipping charges are the shipping fees charged for the Personalized Room Decor Items. These items are shipped directly from the manufacturer and their shipping fees tend to be a few dollars more.
